Happy birthday Kitten! Hope you have a fabulous day! 🎂
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday! I’ve been saving this: 🍩 from chef’s after 8 stash, but you can have it
Oooooh now that’s special! I have been spoiled with offers of food today.
HAPPPPYYYYYYYYBIRRRTTHHHDDDAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Much happiness and prosperity coming your way. Also possibly a kitten of your own in the next few months. The cat distribution system has had some glitches recently, but all seems good now. I would recommend checking behind your pot plants on the balcony every few days just to be sure.
Porridge & honey & cream and tea please Bacon.
🌾🍯🥛☕️🥓
thanks!
Salmon and avo sushi rolls please

Another beautiful sunrise
I don’t understand why I still have some residual sniffles… I was like the first one to get sick, and that happened 15 days ago, but was probably infected about 19 or 20 ago
My partner and kid both came down with something 2 weeks ago, which started with razor-blade sore throat and sniffles then progressed into a hacking cough. Although they’re both much better now, they’re still coughing and have the sniffles. There’s a few nasty viruses going around atm.
Hope you’re feeling g better soon
Good morning friendship pals! The sun is shining(somewhere), the birds are chirping(but not so much), and HOPEFULLY my delivery is coming today. “Transferred at Sunshine West” yeah you BETTER BE.
I had a dream where robots invaded the earth so that was cool and I fully support then in their hobbies.
I ordered some sheets from Kmart almost a fortnight ago and had them redirected to my post office, but then a week ago it said it was “in transit” twice in my suburb and has never updated to say it’s arrived at my post office
Did they send it via couriers please? Every time I’ve gotten something from them they have, and couriers please has managed to fuck something up.
Nope this one’s through auspost. They did send me a heater through couriers please at the end of last month but they managed to fucking lose it so I ended up with no heater
That sounds like them. I swear they’ve never managed to deliver anything well.
One time they broke one delivery, and then broke the replacement that was sent.
“Your delivery is coming today” message received. There’s construction across the road so time to look out the window every time I hear a van for the next 4 to 8 hours
Slept with my hand under my head and my wrist is feeling fucky. I guest I can tick off ‘injury while sleeping’ on the over 40 list of bullshit.
Slept with my hand
Finally showing it some love!
It has served me well in the past, only fair I return the favour.
My best effort so far has been throwing my back out very badly by bending down to pick up a tea towel
Nice!! I threw mine out sneezing a while back.
I know a guy who sneezed in the shower while bending down and twisting slightly to pick up a shampoo bottle off the floor behind him, and put his back out such that he never worked again.
People are so surprised when you tell them, too. It’s like they expect you were lifting boulders or stopping a runaway bus, when it’s, nah, I just sneezed/bent down slightly. So unfair
I have a very strong opinion about the nuclear power debate. It’s new-clear. Not nuke-you-luer, not noo-cloo-la, not newk-yah-lah.
Yeah, I’m not going to call it that…
I still think the private sector is gonna RBMK the FUCK outta traralgon. I’m not saying thats a dealbreaker for me though.
Is this 2008 again? Flashbacks to Sarah Palin…
And Shrub.
New-clee-ah
Noo-klier
Want to be my cat today. Day of napping on the couch, right in front of the heating……
Got my covid booster within six months no questions asked beside my date of birth (I’m 22) and name. Apparently pharmacies don’t follow the rules? I’m only allowed to get it every 12 months lol
I had it about a month ago, and the pharmacist told me that it was a good idea to have another one in six months if I was at all high risk or needed to travel, and that some pharmacies were stricter but most aren’t.
I’m keen to get my booster, but I think the advice is still that people under 18 shouldn’t get it unless they have specific health conditions
Finally!
🎉
Just say voting in this year’s logies is compulsory, who are you voting for to win the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personalty on Australian Television? Nominees are:
▪︎ Andy Lee
▪︎ Julia Morris
▪︎ Larry Emdur
▪︎ Robert Irwin
▪︎ Sonia Kruger
▪︎ Tony Armstrong
▪︎ Asher KeddieI dont know who half these people are, and the other half I dont know what shows they even have on.
Robert Irwin because he seems really authentic.
Going to go Andy Lee, a favourite of mine.
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
I’ll just pay the fine and not cast a vote. I would also match the fine amount with a charity donation to make sure Julia Morris doesn’t win.
Obviously Tony Armstrong. Talented, charismatic, seems to genuinely not be a dick.
But I would never actually vote.
I like Tony too. He seems real. Not showbiz fake.
there’s a road closed off near my house. Its well documented, signs everywhere ect. And the amount of people who drive past 6 or 7 signs only to get to the actual closure and go “Oh. shit. I guess I have to U turn” is crazy! The cops should just stand their and just be taking licenses off these folks cause they are showing 0 situational awareness.
The road closure is not in Google Maps. This is the same reason the Montague St bridge keeps getting hit - Google Maps sending people down that road.
Ah but the closure MIGHT be further along the road from where they are going - and so they take a chance and lose it.
I live near one of the railway crossings they turned into an overpass, and the whole time our street was blocked off at the train line people kept doing that. They would drive up to the barrier then get shitty because it was hard to turn around due to parked cars. It’s like they’d read the signs but still think, nah, I’m special, that doesn’t apply to me.
There was one on the corner of Duggan St and Albion St, Brunswick West.
I rat run that intersection 8 times a week.
That intersection had “road closed” signs on all 3 sides, but in reality every time I drove around it at all hours of the day, it was open and cars were flowing freely.
So I just started ignoring it until they actually sealed it off and started digging 2 weeks later lol.
Bad day to be working from home with no heating. Hands and feet are CHILLY.
pair of fingerless gloves from reject shop is a game changer! If you have a small room you can close the door on you’d be surprised how fast the computer warms the space up too.
I had a super vivid dream that I was really really high and tripping out. High in both senses because I was laying on the roof of a tall apartment building and it seemed to be bending over to tip me off. I felt the actual fear and that feeling you get of when you’re about to fall off something but had to keep trying to tell myself it was in my head but it wasn’t working. I was holding on for my life!
we need to go deeper
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I got on top of the old Yorkshire Brewery in Collingwood before it was redeveloped. Zero PPE, wrapped up in stupidity.
I bought a puck light from Reject shop for the kids to play with. I thought they’d all be the same but apparently ‘you get what you pay for applies here too’.
The button is already busted and hard to press, and the magnet can barely hold the weight of the light itself. That’s the sort of thing I assumed would be the same everywhere
I recently bought a medium size candle from a dollar store, cost $5, it won’t burn properly because the wick is too thin for the wide candle. This is a bit of manufacturing cost cutting that is surprising and annoying.
I had a bunch of these from Ikea when the kids were little. Very useful when the kids awoke in the middle of the night. They were strategically placed around the house, I remember one being in the kitchen another in the bathroom. One in their room.
They were <$5, used 3x AAA batteries that lasted ages and had great magnets. If you have a real use for them, I recommend the Ikea ones. Of course, the real challenge with Ikea is actually walking in and out and only buying the $5 you went in there for. I’ve never managed it.
I have some other lights around I use.I’m sure I could find some at Jaycar or bunnings as well.
The kids just love to turn them on and stare directly into them
