Looks like Yarrabyte has gone missing in action again. I think they may have a secret life or maybe a second job or something. Or just slept in.

Sleep screamed again last night. Second night in a row. I think it has to do with sleep deprivation. Last night, I slept for five hours but I did stay up late to do an assignment and woke up early for work. I didn’t even procrastinate that one so much. I reckon once I work on my time management, the sleep will be better too. I have broken down all of my assignments using a planner and have specific time frames to do each step!

If you have a smart watch, check how much deep sleep you are getting. It should be between 1.5 to 2 hours every night. Not saying that’s the problem but that’s what you should aim for, for a restful sleep.

That’s not too bad but I think you could benefit with more. Now look at your REM. You also need between 1.5 to 2 hours. Both are important.

If the screaming is happening with in the first few hours of sleep it’s probably deep sleep related. If it’s happening more towards the morning then it could be REM related.

Overstimulation during the day, both physical or mental, could also give you sleep problems.

REM sleep this week has been just over an hour. The only time I’ve woken up after screaming was approx 1.5 hours after I last looked at the time. I thought this was REM related. But I think the silver lining in all of this is that I get to revise sleep stuff, which will be helpful for my teaching :D

Thank you for your wisdom! I do wonder if you’ve worked in some kind of health related field or if it’s just a general interest thing.

                  Nah. Sleep studies interest me.

My daughter used to have night terrors as a wee one. I knew exactly when and at what time they would happen.

Right. 2 interviews next week. On is a “if we like you no 3 stages bullshit” the other is 3 stages bullshit lol

Putting out roughly 20 applications a day. I reckon the one and done is a good chance and I actually want the job. The other would be a stop gap.

As long as I buy them one bag at a time I can get free delivery from Bunnnings on things like bags of potting mix. Very tempting to make lots of little orders…

Been freaking out over a new thing on Melbcat’s muzzle (hoping it was just a booger but looked like another precancerous lesion) however she’s now knocked the scab off same as with the first one.

I’d already been told to wait until the first starts growing back before she can be prescribed the cream to deal with it and will probably be told the same thing here, but I did get photos beforehand and will be monitoring.

She’s still eating well, climbing into visitors laps for cuddles, asking to go outside, throwing hands with uninvited cats and jumping up into her favourite chair by herself. She’s doing really well and enjoying her golden years.

Brb working out how to sacrifice young pop stars to extend her life and vitality.

Pretty sure the LittleOne has stolen my earrings. If somebody could make him confess his stash location?

Dammit, America has infected my brain. I’ve started automatically saying “zee” instead of “zed” and it really pisses me off.

Neighbours are playing “we are early birds and think 6am is a reasonable time to fire up power tools”. Dangerous game to play next to a woman who thinks midnight is an early bedtime and likes metal.

Especially since His Lordship is in KL right now so there is literally no stopping me

Mine are fixing up their house to lease / sell, and were using a bandsaw last Sunday after 10pm. I thought of taking revenge early next morning with a guitar and amp (I can’t play guitar), but restrained myself. Bloody rude!

Woke up to early pakidge on my day off, so i can set everything up and play around with it today.

My numpad arrived and it’s bigger than i expected. A different type of clicky to my keyboard but it feels good. It looks like a futuristic phone from the 80s.

I'm calling you from the future:

Thanks everyone for your kind and supportive words.

I’m ok, I’m still a bit worried about the victim, I hope they are ok.

The crimestoppers website might have some information tomorrow - particularly if the police are still trying to find/identify the perpetrator.

    okay

I’m a bit shaken, heart racing

just called in an assault I heard and saw next to the train station across the road

husband followed after he put shoes on

    guy dragged a woman away

cops came within 5 minutes ,

we heard her scream again and the cops went to chase them down

    no other neighbours came out

bad people come to quiet places 😠
