Interesting do you just sub buckwheat flour? I’ve had Ethiopian injera, which is like a sourdough Teff crèpe.

Can it constantly be just like slightly warm just out of the oven? If so then some kind of bread. Milk bread, sourdough, brioche, etc. I love a good shockingly fresh bread but making bread is such a chore

making bread is such a chore

It really isn’t. Make this recipe and let time do the work. It takes 18-24 hours all told, but like 10 minutes of hands-on time

This is the way I was going. Beans, rice, and cheese burritos, with plenty of veggies and salsa to round things out. Pretty wholesome, lots of nutrients, complete protein. You’d never starve. Enchiladas are an excellent variation.

I’ll usually order 10 enchiladas which is 2-3 large dinner orders combined. Have to explicitly say “All Cheese” since they are usually on the menu as mixed (1 beef, 1 chicken etc) and usually it’s a red sauce with lettuce, diced tomatoes and sour cream on top.

Chicken wings. I love a good steak, but I also enjoy cooking my own. Really good chicken wings are a pain to make. It’s a no brainer, especially if I can choose the sauce for each wing.

honestly, french omelette’s pretty easy to make; i would pick a different style of egg that’s more difficult and/or time-consuming, like tamagoyaki or omurice-style omelette.

i’m not gonna question your choice of cuisine, but a french omelette is like one of the easiest and fastest french dishes to make! personally, i’d wish for croissants.
