Think I’m going to be cheeky today while I’m working between sites and stop off at the supermarket to do some shopping so I don’t have to do it after work today.

Took most of the day off and spent it out in the city, lunch and ACMI with visiting relatives. The free exhibition of the history of film and visual media is pretty neat and fun but a bit overstimulating for me. After all that walking around and interaction I am POOPED. Friend offered to catch up but pushed that to tomorrow because right now I can’t wait to go home and sleeeeep.

Also finally tried Ceylon Wok and was duly impressed - especially at that price, what the hell? $12 for a decent feed with vegetables? Not bad at all

I must really overestimate people’s intelligence. There a YT sub dedicated to these docs fishing hearing aid batteries and such out of people’s ears.

Misha, standing between the cat bed and the window, staring down at her own shadow cast and screaming at me because the bed isn’t in full sunlight.

I had shredded cardboard boxes and put more by the door to do when the recycling bin got emptied… but getting pakiges of necessary items just created more boxes. They’re breeding.

I’m trying to pull myself up and get all the niggling annoying stuff sorted but I’m just so lacking in energy.

So I ordered a parcel off of eBay, and apparently it’s being delivered by some weird company I’ve never heard of called “EMEGA”

May God have mercy on my parcel.

Cant find much on them besides their ABN being created in 2018, and they are located in NSW.

I’m not paying ASIC for the data either - I miss when I worked at the SRO and had free access 😭

I had to talk myself out of paying ASIC for the records on the company that managed property maintenance in out of home care. They’ve been doing a shitty job for the better part of a decade, seem to maintain all publicly owned properties, and organisation management always gives a “don’t even go there” response when we’ve complained about them doing shit work.

In reality, it’s probably just cause they’re the cheapest, but I went through a phase for a few months where I was CONVINCED there had to be kickbacks or some sort of relationship between the owners of this company and people working in child protection and the housing commission. Luckily I didn’t have enough spending money to buy the report at the time, and by the time I did, I’d talked myself out of it

        I'm not a conspiracy nut

Except that one time when I was I guess

The taco spring rolls were great, but they were NOTHING compared to the mac and cheese spring rolls. Honestly the mac and cheese was a bit shit but wrapped in the crispy spring roll with the soft creamy interior? easily one of the best things I’ve cooked this year! right up there with my roux alfredo.

Quiet weekend. Work paid for dinner and a couple of drinks. Happens once a month.

Glad I’m in a different sector. All the IT places I worked for were awful and tight asses.
