Power is back on? Yes! What a relief.

I wish I had the energy to sort out more battery powered stuff and physical media for these times just to take the edge off. It’s never hugely long and not frequent but it really gets to me.

I still haven’t fixed the solar panel/car battery combo and at this point it’s unlikely I’ll be able to sort it out >.<

If you want to go down the battery path these basic lanterns are great. They run on 4xAAA batteries, last for ages, and give lots of light.

Rechargeable battery packs have been a godsend for me.

If I know ahead of time I’ll get everything ready.

I have a dolphin light which is pretty powerful and bright just incase as well if you’re candle adverse.

Ugh. Accidentally napped, and woke up quite late for Melbcat’s meds.

    Cat tmi

She’s still been crying and desperately ran away after using the litterbox today so I think her uti is still causing pain. When it should be settling? She’s constipated too.

Already been to the vet on Tuesday to try and find out what the pain is but now I think it’s that.

I’ve given the extra pain relief on top of her usual and might have to just give it more routinely instead of waiting for the need. Making my alarms louder so I actually hear them.

I need to find where that Cystapro stuff is - it’s bright red and tastes terrible but maybe right now it could give some relief. I’ve given her a hot water bottle to lie on while I look.

I also mixed a little Osmolax into her wet food with extra water plus pumpkin baby food and might keep that up until things improve.

Edit: That is so weird. I can’t find the Cystapro capsules. I did stop using it but don’t remember throwing them away

I am slowly working my way through the Discworld books using my Spotify audiobook hours. About halfway through the new(ish) penguin audio versions and I am starting to get the hype. My eyes get sore after a day on the computer and it’s a nice way to drift off.

Polystyrene has now been disposed of, and I stopped in for some more packing materials on the way back. Oh, alright, it was actually the craft resource rescue place, and the packing materials are mostly bits of fabric etc., but close enough! I also grabbed a couple of rectangular tins with hinged lids which were some sort of promotional hair care thing, but will be great little rubbish bins for the bathrooms. I had plans for a big coffee tin, but these will work better - I might even cover them with the wallpaper I found.

Man, I think I caught a bit of whatever’s going around. No respiratory issues whatsoever, don’t think I even have a fever but the headache came back with a vengeance and I’ve been so fatigued with so little appetite that I only got out of bed for the first time at 9:30 PM - yes, PM, nearly 24 hrs straight in bed - to pee (an unholy dark liquid) and eat and drink something. Feel full after a couple of bites although my stomach is making all the food noises. Managed to keep down dinner, took two Nurofen with an antacid, back in bed and I hope to HELL that I’ll feel better tomorrow.

I really like how this puzzle is not the usual dimensions.

( I’d do the horizon after the edges, then the tree line, then sort top and bottom )

My sister’s cat does this. And about half the pieces end up with little tooth mark deckles around the edges. Has been known to stash random pieces in his bed. I think he likes the taste of the glue.

I was referring to the glue that holds the cardstock together to the picture - not the glue that people use to frame a jigsaw.

I haven’t had a bougie bath in a very long time. Aunt’s bath is really nice (resort sort of nice) so I had to tonight was a long day. Lush. Lit the candles, lights off. i’m not really into that that sort of thing but yea… nice.

Last time I used that thing was when I chucked hambam in for a bath when he was covered in mud / fuck knows what else.

    Tonight was my night though.
