I’m currently using Voyager for Android, and I got to be honest it’s a little confusing. I’ve never really used Lemmy before so I’m entirely new to this. But browsing the Google Play store is pretty tough. I mean it just filled with all these ads and it’s hard to figure out what is actually used or what is good.

Thunder. It’s cross platform and available for both Android and IOS.

Voyager is the best at the moment. There are a few other full featured ones. People always recommend Jerboa but when I looked at it I think it was lacking moderation tools. I’ve also used Sync, Thunder, and something else. You’re on the right one now. No need to change.

The only feature that I am after still is the ability to browse other instances without searching. You can’t do that yet in Voyager.

Are you having specific trouble with something?

I switch between Boost for Lemmy and Jerboa. Boost has more features but is a little more complicated to use. Jerboa is super simple and made everything easy but it’s missing a few features I need to use occasionally.

Mlem on iOS just got a 2.0 beta release and it is really nice (still some bugs but it is a beta)

I use thunder. Works well for viewing most content, but don’t use it for posts/comments. Also, you can use fdroid. It’s way better than google play (no ads and sponsored results)

I’ve usually got it collapsed on the side, so it’s fine. But yeah, it’s mobile first. I just found it early on and there wasn’t much else available. I just haven’t switched bc it hasn’t stopped me from doing the basic things

I used jerboa at first and it was really great, although a bit buggy (haven’t used it in a while tho)

I’m now using a different frontend my instance provides (Photon, at p.lemmy.dbzer0.com) and it is really great on mobile. I added it to my home from the browser and it just feels like an app
