Asking as a white liberal who lives in a more conservative place in Canada with little personal experience of the flag. Does the confederate flag mean anything other than racism/white supremacy? I am wondering if I am being overly sensitive considering skipping my brother’s birthday because of the confederate flag cake that has been ordered
