Highly recommend! A third of that sauteed in oil + 2 tinned tomatoes + garlic (poowder) + sugar + salt/stock powder + dried herbs, simmer for 10-20 minutes… hey presto, really easy and cheap pasta sauce right smack in the middle between jar sauce on one end, and making it completely from scratch on the other.
