I think the honest truth is that these are being posted automatically by accounts that don’t even review what gets uploaded. They just feed a bot some generic trash prompt and let er rip.

Why apply effort when the computer can foster engagement from nothing?

Speaking of disrespectful, the rules for this community specify that posts must be photographs.

Checking it over just defeats the purpose of AI slop. The whole point of using AI is you want to put in as little effort as possible.

We have some AI tools at work, one of them generates images and another one can analyze images.

One image I generated had unreadable warning text below it, something that looks like “smoking kills” but it’s unreadable garbage glyphs.

I fed it into the image analysis and it turned out the unreadable text reliably triggers the NSFW content filter.

Maybe I should print it on a T-shirt to offend vision AI models…

The questions is, why would anyone engage with this instead of immediately reporting it as bot spam?

I get people are not tech literate, which is fine, but I don’t get how they are so gullible/undiscerning online.
