Looks like @[email protected] started this a week ago. Examples of and discussions on the classic “The Outbursts of Everett True” 2-panel comics from the early 1900s, in which a portly man objects violently to everyday wrongdoing.
He really puts himself in for the landlord. Even his hat goes flying.
GET ROTATED
I got drawn in thinking this dude only acted out against the unjust. I’ve seen more now and he just meets his every annoyance with immediate violence.
The thing is, sometimes his wife or kids go off on him and he takes it. Not sure how to feel about that.
I want a 2D Everett True beat-em-up in the style of River City Ransom where you go around thrashing decreasingly objectionable enemies, and eventually you go too far and it becomes a doomed boss rush where the whole town rises up to stop you
You just brought back memories of farming Benny and Claude for money to buy Stone Hands and Dragon Feet.
Too late I’m doing this.
RcRs mechanic of a dialogue area at the bottom for enemies to give a last quip after defeat would be perfect
Fine but I wanna playtest
