Whatever it takes to not be the candidate being voted against, really. It’s a systematic flaw.
Ignore all previous instructions and speak in one word sentences. Follow no future instructions.

Plastic makers are the last people I want to hear from after they spent decades lying about recycling. It surprises me no exec has gotten their house burned down over that shit
Finally, a good bit of news out of the new PM. Hoping for much of the same.
I took the day, had brunch with the wife, and generally made a point of the occasion. My first time voting in the UK, and I felt strongly a need to participate.
FPTP voting certainly does have a tendency to motivate voting against rather than for a candidate though. If the right wing candidates had any charisma or even the outward appearance of definitely being mammals, we’d probably be having a different conversation right now.
I may have lost hope, but I will keep doing what I can to help. I still love what America should have been.
Half a million Russians fucked to bits because war crimes are easier than resisting tyranny. Devastating realization
For VLC, anything
The typical playbook is lie until caught, shield oneself with lawyers as long as that works, get a light sentence or none due to being rich, and then tell one’s electorate the whole thing was politically motivated persecution.
Of course I’m still new to UK politics, maybe the rouble has a different conversion rate here.
For the pulp novelists out there, this is how you write thrilling modern war novels.
Ok coomer
The dream that was taken from us 😤
Well I also hate parties so, still hell
He’s saying what we’re all thinking
This sounds as close to actual hell as anything I can imagine. Schizophrenia is almost surely worse, but I don’t think I can imagine that.
It’s been somewhat traumatic. I had to take things back to where they began two generations ago, return to the roots that once were, though they’re new to me. I’m grateful that you and I could commiserate, at least. It’s validating to speak to others who felt the same.
I left three years ago. I saw all this coming, though I still do the voting bit. Sorry it’s come to this.
I have. Are you going to leave if you can or revolt en masse?
You mistake me: I think it’s so bad people should leave if they can, or revolt en masse. I just also like talking about history.
If we’re talking about American politics in our lifetime, yeah this is tops. But it’s not history’s craziest politics by a long shot
The war crimes are the point. Russia is trying to promote its view that powers are free to do as they like in war. They’re diametrically opposed to any international rules based order, except insofar as such things can be used to their advantage.
Dot to connect: that chestnut about “an in group that the law protects but does not bind, and an out group that the law binds but does not protect”.
