Everything that lives is designed to end. We are perpetually trapped… in a never-ending spiral of life and death. Is it a curse? Or some kind of punishment? I often think about the god who blessed us with this cryptic puzzle… and wonder if we’ll have the chance to kill him.

Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact… same fucking thing… over and over again expecting… shit to change… That. Is. Crazy.
Overblown character with little substance who you literally only see like 3 times in the campaign, dies midway through, and isn’t even the main villain.
Massively overhyped.
From Homeworld: “No one is left. Everything’s gone. Kharak is burning.”
"We sense… something… something ancient… a sickly smell… a chilling wind.
My ancestors scream from within their chambers in my mind
but I cannot understand their words.
This feeling… a memory? It sickens us, and for the first time in our lives
for the first time in generations
We fear."
This seems familiar but I can’t find what it’s from
Star Control 2, Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah first quote when you meet them. Chilling, voice acting is so good. Voice acting in that game was so good, I still listen to the dialogues every once in a while.
Go for the eyes Boo, go for the eyes!
“Did you just say ‘nerd’?"
“Well, This is the part where he kills us.”
“Hello. This is the part where I kill you.”
CHAPTER 9: THE PART WHERE HE KILLS YOU
Achievement Unlocked: The part where he kills you
<The part where he kills you music plays in backround>
Good god what an incredible sequence that was to play through for the first time. I was so busy laughing that it was, in fact, the part where he killed me.
i need to play portal 2 again
“The thing about happiness is that you only know you had it when it’s gone. I mean, you may think to yourself that you’re happy. But you don’t really believe it. You focus on the petty bullshit, or the next job, or whatever. It’s only looking back by comparison with what comes after that you really understand, that’s what happiness felt like.”
-Conrad Kellogg; Fallout 4.
I wish there had been a way for Kellog to be more than just “a guy you kill on the way to the institute”.
He deserved to be more fleshed out and used.
Kellogg should’ve been able to be a companion, with a rather high Charisma check or something.
Had to be me, someone else might’ve gotten it wrong.
Oof, didn’t expect it right in my heart reading these quotes
Your dungeon is full of yoghurt
Protocol 3: Protect the Pilot
One of the best campaigns I have ever played and definetly my favourite shooter.
I WILL NOT LOSE ANOTHER PILOT.
“Ouch! What do you do?”
-Goonies 2, NES
A man chooses, and slave obeys.
When Picasso became bored of painting people, he started representing them as cubes and other abstract forms. The world called him a genius! I’ve spent my entire surgical career creating the same tired shapes, over and over again: the upturned nose, the cleft chin, the ample bosom. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could do with a knife what that old spaniard did with a brush?
You are not prepared! - WoW
Betrayer… in truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still I am hunted. Still I am hated. Now my blind eyes see what others cannot. That, sometimes, the hand of fate must be forced!
