Star Wars: Attack of the Clones
It used to be Bad Santa, then it got rehabilitated somehow.
Chronicles of Riddick. Not sure it’s considered a “bad” movie, but I definitely like it more than most. Just a crazy entertaining world and system they build in a short 2 hour long movie.
Hoodwinked
Void, yes; absolute perfection.
I never liked those quilting bees or the bingo parlours. I wanted to live life to the extreme.

The sound track and voice acting punched well above the movie’s aesthetics.
The Descent
Not a shitty movie
I hate the fact that they made ‘The Descent 2’. Totally (and unnecessarily) killed the ambiguous ending of the original.
There is no war but class war.
Gutter is a tool!
Can you blow me where the pampers is?
Genuinely love this movie. So weird to see a lot of the actors in really early roles lol
Right? Who could have predicted that Gutter would go on to lay the foundations for Marvel’s decades-long cinematic dominance?
Lol he is a force to be reckoned with for sure
I unironically enjoy the old 2005 Fantastic 4 movie. It was cheesy as fuck, I don’t deny that. But it was fun. And the comics themselves can be as bad or worse sometimes.
Also I like Julian McMahon.
Also also, Chris Evans towel scene.
Now imagine that… but all over
I unironically enjoy the old 2005 Fantastic 4 movie. It was cheesy as fuck, I don’t deny that.
I hated it when it came out, because all super hero movies were cheesy as fuck, and it felt bad seeing another.
But in hindsight, Fantastic Four movies are better when they’re cheesy as fuck, because so was/I’d the comic (more often than not).
My only remaining complaint is that the sequel was too chickenshit to give Galactus a giant purple fork hat. I noticed happily that the shadow of the fork hat made it into the trailer, for the new movie.
I seriously doubt that it would count as ‘shittty’, but it wasn’t very well received and is not widely known either, for me rather a kind of comfort movie I’ll defend till the edges of the earth: the Cohen brothers’ ‘A Serious Man’
Congo? Congo…
Love this movie, nothing like the book, but Tim curry with a stupid accent is all it takes to please me.
Come on that don’t belong here great movie based on the same writer behind Jurassic Park, both books I own. This movie has the legendary Tim Curry not a bad movie.
Look you don’t have to sell me on it, I absolutely love it, but we are not in the majority on this…
I’m shocked that we are not.
“Hirkemer Himulka”
Stop eating my sesame cake!
I quote this so much, so so much…
Amy Good Gorilla
Six String Samurai. It’s not good. But it’s soooo quotable!
Nice shoes. Nice shoes to DIE in!

Holy crap. I haven’t thought about that movie in 20 years.
Fuck yes! One of the first and few dvds I had. Watched the fuck outta that bad boy so many times.
I think of this movie every time I see a guillotine paper cutter.
Which one?

that movie triggered my puberty
Is that usher?
Sure is!

Aeonflux, except I don’t actually bother trying to defend it.
The movie, or the show?
The movie. Didn’t know there was a show.
The film was better than the old MTV series it was based on. They built a compelling world in the animated version, but the film delivered on that vision.
I put Ultraviolet next to this too. I’m not here for cohesive world building, I’m here for gratuitous sci-fi action perpetrated by a woman with a bad haircut.
Mirror’s Edge was if both of these movies merged into one and made something actually good.
I jest, but I’ve seen both and while they’re gorgeous, I basically ended up ignoring plot.
My brain puts Equilibrium in the same universe.
Moonfall.
I just watched this for the first time about 3 months ago and it became my spouse’s absolute favourite for those 3 months. It honestly feels like it should have been a videogame. The Musk praise is so fucking funny given the current state of the US, the premise makes less than no sense, but it’s just so freaking good.
“I’m not a real doctor I just put a doctor’s title on my business card because it looks cool.” — wack as fuck conspiracy theorist who happens to be right.
Mine’s gotta be “The Brothers Grimm” starring Matt Damon and Heath Ledger. It’s the same camp vibe as the “Van Helsing” movie starring Hugh Jackman, but there’s no badass super hero to save the day - there’s just a bunch of imperfect people trying their best, and it’s almost entirely by luck or destiny that they snatch victory from the clutches of defeat. It’s also one of the most morbid depictions of childish horror i’ve seen on-screen, where it gives no fucks about being realistic.
That era of movies is what everyone wants their D&D campaigns to be.
Evolution.
They said shitty not awesome
“can we get you anything?”
“ice cream…”
“okay, what flavor?”
“it doesn’t matter… It’s for my ass”
‘Wayne, I think we’ve established that “Ca-Caw Ca-Caw” and “Tookie Tookie” don’t work.’
Ah, I’m glad I was reminded that this movie exists.
“you are so beautiful…”
incredulous stare
“to me…”
monstrous roar from the other side of the mall
Well I know what I’m watching tonight… No joke my sister and I used to watch that multiple times a week as teens
Underrated movie IMO.
It’s not a movie, it’s an ad for Head&Shoulders.
Haven’t you noticed how shiny and flake free our hair is?
Is that the one with David Duchovny?
Yes and Orlando Jones
And Seann William Scott
And Julianne Moore
Dan Akroyd, too.
That is a good one.
