      When I hear stories of the native Americans respecting life by only taking what they need, and thanking a slain animal for sacrificing itself for them, and using all of its body, I think that is a good representation of respecting life.

      I have an American public education so of course I don’t know how realistic those depictions are or how widespread such a practice would have been. Whether or not that is an accurate depiction of what any native Americans actually did, and even if it’s pure fiction, I like that image of respecting life.

          So there is no difference here between human and non-human animals. In your post you included planta, seemingly on the same level. So… What do you eat to stay alive?
