        When news stops what does a person do?

        I suppose what people in the SSR used to do. Keep a diary.

        I think the saddest thing I have heard this week, and i have a lot going on, is the loss of Voice of America. All those old movies where you see people in communist or fascist countries huddled around a contraband home made radio listening to news, they were listening to Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Voice of Liberty .

        There is BBC World Service still and now it is more vital than ever.

      At least the anti Musk protesters have doubled down after Trump’s threats of prosecution (ie, if they damage a Tesla they’re terrorists, lol) This is the spirit the US needs!

      This bloke is interesting - claims to be an independent observer/commentator Paul Warburg.

      I enjoy his insights/observations. He seems to me to be a voice of reason in a very unreasonable situation. His analysis is I think worth listening to.
