Right now my fav is the second sandwich in This video. I’ve made it at least a dozen times in the past month or two. Avocado and blk olives + humus + roasted red pepper/onion/zucchini + balsamic vinegar glaze(I do extra of this)
Fresh baguette, slice lengthwise. Butter both sides with probably way too much salted butter. Slice cornichon pickles really thin, embed them in the butter. Slice a nice cured meat like sopressata or salami and layer it on top of the pickles. Close and eat as much as you can before your rational mind overwhelms you and forces you to eat something healthy instead.
With great relish
- slice of tasty bread
- cheese
- salami
- tomato
- more cheese
- slice of bread
In a pan, add a decent amount of olive oil. Sprinkle kosher salt over the oil.
Grill the sandwich like a grilled cheese. Add more oil and salt before you flip and grill the other side if needed.
Kosher salt/oil is the key.
Club sandwich with sliced chicken breast, avocado and tomato, on corn bread spread with cream cheese and pesto.
Also Amsterdam Ox sausage (ground beef with spices) with chopped onion, pickles and boiled egg, with remoulade and black pepper.

Slice of breadI am a simple person.
Baguette, butter, brie.
Cammembert cheese and a hot egg, insuperable
- Dave’s Killer Bread, wheat or seeded
- Thick layer of Skippy peanut butter, smooth
- Strawberry preserves
Cut it in half and serve with a glass of milk.
This is basically dessert.
They are two:
Kimchi grilled cheese, like the video “late night kimchi grilled cheese”. Strain some kimchi, save the liquid. Chop the solid and fry it in butter. Assemble the sandwich with the kimchi between cheese, cheese between bread. Mayonnaise the outside of the sandwich. More butter in pan, and add the liquid from the kimchi. Fry the sandwich in this kimchi butter. So it’s got kimchi fried in butter on the inside, and is itself fried in kimchi butter.
Close second place roast beef and sharp cheddar with sliced sweet onion, on good rye sourdough, with horseradish and mayonnaise. Yum yum yum.
I tried Kimchi and lamb burgers they are delicious.
Tuna Sandwich
Ingredients:
2 slices Dave’s Killer Bread (21 Seed Variant), lightly toasted
1 can tuna
2 tbsp Hellmann’s mayonnaise
2 tbsp chopped pickles
1 slice muenster cheese
1 slice gruyere cheese
2 slices tomato
A handful of baby spinach leaves
1 tsp Grey Poupon mustard
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
-
Prepare Tuna Mix: Combine tuna, mayonnaise, and chopped pickles in a bowl.
-
Assemble Sandwich:
-
Spread the tuna mixture on one slice of toasted bread.
-
Spread Grey Poupon mustard on the other slice.
-
Layer muenster cheese, gruyere cheese, tomato slices, and baby spinach leaves over the tuna.
-
Season: Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
-
Close and Serve: Place the mustard-coated slice on top, press gently, and enjoy.
Tuna salad with sour is criminally underrated. When I make tunamelts I include a healthy dollop of sauerkraut and it adds quite a lot to the taste.
Honestly - acid is generally underused in home cooking. There’s a reason nearly every dish restaurants make has lemon juice or vinegar on it.
Bonus points for including the recipe!

Do burgers count? 😃 If yes, whatever you want to call this burger that’s in a drawing I’m doing:
Basically a cheeseburger except with the melty cheese, with fries and ketchup added 🍔
It depends on the time of day.
I’m the morning I toast a Cisco triangle ciabatta bun, butter it, and add two fried eggs, bacon or Ham, and Swiss cheese.
I’m the afternoon I slice two slices of leftover Malloy, put them in a pan, cover them wth spaghetti sauce, and poach them. I toast two slices of bread then place the poached meatloaf on one slice and add lettuce, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper, Swiss cheese, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese, as some extra sauce, and top of with the other slice of toast.
Yes please!
Sliced bread - plain white is optimal - toasted.
Apply a liberal amount of mayonnaise.
Layer on sliced tomatoes - salt them each on both sides as you do so.
Close sandwich.
Eat.
Nice!
A thin slice of very sharp cheddar is really good on that too.
My mouth is watering. I just brushed my teeth. I must resist!
