I make it a point to steal a little something every time I’m forced to use these.
Big box hardware stores appear to have zero people to check you out anymore, so they all give me something every time I shop.
Pro tip: they won’t bother if you dont steal anything expensive. Additionally, there are cameras in the ceiling that are working with the register to see what is in the cart and determine if you have scanned everything. Buy a cardboard box (cheapest thing that works). Lay it over your cart. Put stuff under it and now the system cant see your cart to determine if you stole something. A GFCI outlet or two never seem to go noticed.

Watched him pack up his shit and stood at the end of the driveway in tears watching him drive away. He moved out of state, rarely called, almost never visited. I was seven years old.
As a father, I could not dream of doing that. The only thing that piece of shit was good for was an example of what not to do. I love my kids so much, I cannot understand how much of a heartless fuck you’d have to be to just piss off like that. If you’ve ever done this to your kids, you are a good for nothing piece of shit.
Hope the flames are keeping you toasty you rotten bastard, I’ll be up here enjoying my own kids quite a lot!

You pay a premium and get little in return. I installed my own and rather than just connecting the power to a standard electrical connection, you have to (or you have to pay someone) to wire in a proprietary electrical connection box. The dishwasher has a special cable that connects to their weird receptacle. No idea why, helps nothing, adds labor without benefit. Bosch dishwashers do not use heating coils to dry the dishes. They use the residual heat of the water to dry. My experience is that this is not very effective as well as slow. Some have a means to ventilate themselves (fans, mechanism to open door, etc). This helps, but adds complexity, failure points and is still slow. I gave up after my last (third one) Bosch would not clean nor dry properly after it was about four years old. Took it apart, cleaned crud out of pump and bottom end. Came to conclusion that the pump was no longer able to move water at a sufficient pressure to spray the dishes. Was more of a weak sprinkler effect. No idea why it would not dry. It never dried well from the beginning.
I have since switched to a whirlpool (kitchen aid) with a heating coil. One year in being run 2x a day and no issues so far. Dishes are clean and dry. Bought a simpler model without nonsense like wifi, apps, lights, floor projection or anything else. I run one setting: auto.

This communication occurs entirely within the device and does not traverse the network in a way that browser extensions like uBlock Origin can intercept or block. Browser extensions generally cannot block or even see requests made to localhost sockets, especially when those requests are initiated by scripts running in the browser and targeting native apps on the same device
Showed this to my wife. She also did not understand.

Keep iterating through pressing and holding one button on either side of the screen. Eventually, you will open a diagnostic menu. You can’t do anything here without a passcode, but it will stop the ad.
I’ve only come across a few pumps where I could not figure out the combo before I finished pumping.
Are you 70?
This is the correct answer. Celery is an ingredient, not something you eat on its own. You CAN eat raw onion chunks, but most don’t. Better as an ingredient.
Choccy chips.
Who the hell still eats raisins?! I thought society at large had decided we were done with them.
Raisins is nasty.

Every so often, bad baby would scoot off the mat it 3am. Nothing like the absolute fucking panic of hearing that alarm going off when you’re dead asleep and now halfway to juniors room before you wake up only to find he scooted off the mat. AGAIN.
I don’t miss the pure anxiety of being a new parent. I had forgotten about that thing and I’m so glad it is a faded memory.
No, because you have to take your Lil buddy to the vet to get euthanized before you get ashes. Part of the fun trauma of this age is having to be old enough to make that decision. That today is fluffy’s last day on earth. Then you get to be guilted by the vet into buying some sort of memorial package in a moment of weakness.
Having your pal turn up toes at home is what gets you a backyard burial. Not awful enough, sorry friend.
OK then I will bite.
How do workers and tradespeople get to these places? When their refrigerator breaks and they need a repair or a new one, are those delivered on a bike?
When someone buys a mattress, do they just helicopter them in?
When people move into these apartments how does the furniture get moved in? Movers just carry it a full city block?
How do plumbers and electricians bring their equipment in? How do tilers, roofers, people who replace windows get to these places?
How do emergency services get in here? Fire trucks just dont anymore?
I dislike traffic, congestion and poor air quality, but the idea that we don’t need roads is just silly. Manage them, dont delete them. This is the folly of the bourgeois.
