I installed Mint on an old laptop with low specs and it ran very well in that context. I switched to Manjaro for my main computer because KDE and i have to agree. Manjaroo is also very easy to use out of the box.

These are matters of ideology. If you say yes to it, it is ideological in the same way when you say no to it. There is no inherent objective truth to these value questions.

Same for the economy. It doesn’t matter if you think that growth should be the main objective, or that equal opportunity should be the focus or sustainability or other things. You will have to make a value judgement and the sum of these values represent your ideology.

Biden is literally arming a genocide. He was even adamant about his continued support for that. Meanwhile Dems led cities have brutally beaten up peaceful colelge protests and invited fascist MAGA mobs to attack minority students there.

The DNC and Biden do not protect minorities. They are white supremacists with just a bit more moderation to the means they employ, but they will absolutely resort to authoritarian crackdowns if they feel the minorities to step out of line by demanding justice and rights.

And you are happily imprisoning yourself into believing that the system is right to only offer you these two as candidates. If everyone that was progressive and unhappy with Biden would vote for Stein, then she could win. It is the mere talk about her having no chance of winning and the vote being wasted that keeps people in line to take the system as is.

I see the same arguments made against voting for smaller parties in my country where there is a minimum % they need to achieve before getting parliament seats. It is a system designed to preserve the current political elites with their network to the economic and cultural elites against ideas and movements taking a foothold.

Everyone sees what Biden is and what he stands for. If everyone who disagrees with that would take to the streets and demand the DNC to hold a real primary, or better yet demand fundamental changes to the political system, you would be surprised what is possible.

In a two party system the only way to “crush” the extreme right is by establishing another party to take the spot in the two party system. And you know what will happen then? The Dems will move from being the far right party with gay rights to being the extreme right party. Because they already are far right by any sensible measure.

I mean all the concerned people could take to the streets right now.

The DNC wants you to believe that all you can do is cast your vote for something every other year and just take the options presented. In that sense they are worse than the Reps who encourage their base to be active for more than just the ballots and it is working.

Especially now the Dems give me huge 1984 vibes in how the individual should handle politics relative to the party.

The DNC replied that you are just a secret Trump fan. The party knows what is best and you should not expect primaries and having a say. Also we have always been at war with East-Asia.

USA only started selling weapons to Israel in the 1960’s, and initially only defensive weapons.

Leaving aside the fact that the 1960s are 60 years ago, the patriot system is there to shoot down missiles, drones and maybe approaching fighter jets. It is a “defensive weapon”.

It is an enemy of the world. With all its imperfections the UN with the ICJ and ICC were the best development we had towards a rule based international order, where diplomacy and cooperation could be a counterbalance to barbarism and the rule of the jungle.

Now Israel is making it abundantly clear, that all of this is worthless, while dragging the West down morally and ethically and on top of all of this actively attacking those institutions.

Israel wants the world to devolve into barbarism and the US, Germany, UK and other supporters are actively cheering it on with their actions, while providing transparent words of “hmm. we need peace and stuff.” while delivering even more weapons and preventing yet another diplomatic solution.

How unfortunate. Whenever the Israelis want to go on a field trip the weather forecast predicts storms of bullets and pilars of smoke blocking the sun out. Those guys are really unlucky.

If only there was some way for the largest military power in the world to make a country of 7 million not interfer with its humanitarian operations. Well i guess the only thing they can do is send the small nation even more weapons to genocide evne more innocent civillians.

And how much time is that? Rape of a minor is something that can easily go into 5-10 years range in a civillian court in many countries.

Dann erkläre mal bitte, was du unter dem Begriff FAKTENFINDER erwartest? Mein Verständnis ist, das wer diesen aufruft, dort FAKTEN FINDET. Und nicht eine Sammlung von Meinungen die irgendwann mal dem Stand des Wissen entsprochen haben, oder zumindest im Rahmen dessen waren, was noch vertretbar war zu der Zeit.

Um den Vergleich zur Wissenschaft zu ziehen. Ein Professor ist auch ein “Faktenfinder” für die Studierenden. Es wir derwartet, dass er ihnen den aktuellen Stand vermittelt und wenn er Veraltetes zeigt, dann dieses auch so benennt.

Wenn du nicht erwartest, dass ein sog. FAKTEN FINDER diese Rolle ebenfalls einnimmt, dann muss du doch anerkennen, dass der Name selbst dann der Propaganda dient, weil normale Artikel oder Meinungskommentare als vermeintliche Wahrheit aufgebauscht werden.

Zur Begründung:

Die ARD unterstützt mit ihrer Propaganda den Genozid in Gaza. Und wenn einem das Wort Genozid zu scharf ist, dann eben zahlreiche Massaker, grausame Kriegsverbrechen, die totale Zerstörung ziviler Infrastruktur, Geiselnahme, Vergewaltigungen an Frauen, Kindern und Männern, Folter und das alles zusammen mit weiteren ethnischen Säuberungen in der Westbank.

Damit macht sie sich gemein mit Axel-Springer und anderen privaten Propagandainstitutionen.

Es ist die Pflicht jedes Demokraten und die besondere Pflicht aller Deutschen, die aus der Geschichte gelernt haben, sich dem entgegenzustellen. Deswegen muss die Mittäterschaft der ARD kritisiert werden und es muss darauf hingewirkt werden, diese zu beenden und die Mittäter zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen. Und es ist essentiell, dass jeder begreift, dass er dort eben nicht eine neutrale sachliche Berichterstattung findet, sondern Propaganda, die die klassischen Instrumente nutzt, um sich einen Mantel der Seriöstität zu geben.

Hab selten so einen Schwachsinn gehört. Wenn das Datum direkt drunter steht, dann ist das ein Teil der Information. Niemand in der realen Welt macht das.

Und dann belässt man es bei den alten Informationen? Kein Wissenschaftler forscht weiter und veröffentlicht neue Erkenntnisse nicht wahr? Und wenn, dann lässt er den alten Artikel an erster Stelle stehen, auch wenn der neuere widerspricht?

Wie gesagt, Deine Meinung ist völlig realitätsfern. Medienkompetenz mangelhaft, Datumsangaben nicht verstanden. Niemand schaut in die Zeitung von 2010 und beschwert sich, dass da Russland als guter Nachbar der Ukraine bezeichnet wird.

Und niemand präsentiert die Zeitung von 2010 als die aktuelle Zeitung indem er sie weiter vorne zwischen all den anderen liegen hat. Insbesondere nicht unter dem Titel “Faktenfinder”, was schon vom Wort bedeutet, dass man dies als Suchergebnis präsentiert. Was völlig anders ist, als z.B. Wochennachrichten.

Nein, aber folgender Absatz von Dir ist unwiderlegbar Falsch, weil Du eine Aussage aus der Vergangenheit auf spätere Ereignisse anwendest. Das ist methodisch grober Unfug und im Ergebnis Desinformation. Und wie ironisch das doch ist, in einem Post, der anderen Propaganda vorwirft. Somit bekommst Du von mir den höchstoffiziellen Propagandapokal. Viel Spaß damit!

Unter der Annahme, dass der Artikel nach bestem Wissen geschrieben wurde, hätte er spätestens mit dem ersten IGH Entscheid durch einen neuen Artikel in der Rubrik FAKTENFINDER ergänzt werden müssen. Und wie ich bereits geschrieben habe, habe ich extra die ARD angeschrieben, dass der Artikel jetzt so verstanden wird, und ob sie nicht im Sinne des FAKTENFINDERS die neue Sachlage (aus ihrer Sicht) darstellen müssten.

Deine Beschuldigung ich würde Desinformation verbreiten beruht weiter darauf, dass du meinst es genügt FAKTEN einmal zu FINDEN. Und das es kein fortwährender Prozess wäre. Das ist aber in jeder Domäne, ob nun Wissenschaft oder dem behaupteten Kampf gegen Desinformation schlichtweg falsch. Gerade weil man gegen Desinformation steht, muss man die Information aktuell halten, und frühere falsche Information einordnen, damit diese nicht zu Desinformation wird.

Und jetzt kommt das allerverückteste. Der FAKTENFINDER ist ein online Angebot. Es ist die einfachste Form dynamische Inhalte anzubieten. Ja es ist gerade der Sinn dieses Formats nicht statisch wie eine Zeitung oder ein Buch zu sein. Und nichts wäre einfacher als an den Anfang drei Sätze voranzustellen wie z.B. “Dies ist ein veralteter Stand. Zum neuen Stand können Sie hier<hyperlink> lesen. Dieser Artikel ist nur noch zur Information über den historischen Stand gedacht”

Übrigens, weist du was mit Sach- und Lehrbüchern passiert, wenn diese länger draußen sind? Es gibt neue Auflagen! Fehler werden korrigiert. Neues Wissen wird ergänzt. Selbst das statische Format Buch ist dynamischer als der Online FAKTENFINDER der ARD.

Und das alles blendest du aus. Und da ich dir mal unterstelle auch recht viel digital unterwegs zu sein, wundert es mich, dass du dich vehement dagegen wehrst. Aber lassen wir mal all das auch weg. Dann ist dein Anspruch also, dass der FAKTENFINDER willkürlich entscheidet zu einem Thema eine Information als Fakt zu präsentieren und diese dann statisch ist. Falls entschieden wird doch mal zu aktualisieren, dann ebenfalls ohne konsistente Strategie. Damit ist dann das Ergebnis komplett wertlos, weil ich immer davon ausgehen muss, dass alles was länger als ein paar Stunden im FAKTENFINDER steht bereits veraltet sein kann. Die behauptete Rolle eine Anlaufstelle zu sein, um Desinformation entgegenzutreten wird damit konterkariert. Und damit belibt dann wiederum der FAKTENFINDER letztlich nur ein Propagandainstrument, dass unter aufgebauschtem Titel Seriösität vermitteln soll, die strukturell fehlt.

Aber ich glaube, dass du das alles intellektuell begreifst. Ich denke dein Problem ist emotionaler Natur, weil du bei vielen Themen, z.B. Coronaschwurbelei der Meinung bist, die dort präsentiert wird, bzw. Kritik am ÖRR allgemein mit “Lügenpresse”-Rufen aus der AfD Ecke verbindest. Und da ist es schwer einzugestehen, dass die Übereinstimmung “zufällig” gegeben ist, und nicht weil die Institution strukturell gut arbeitet oder vertrauenswürdig ist.
