This is the closest election I’ve seen in my life. If Surrey Centre and Juan de Fuca flip, the Conservatives win. That’s a decision made by like 100 votes in an election where 2,000,000 ballots were cast.

That’s true, NDP will likely eke out the win here, but a Con win is entirely possible with how close these ridings are.

They do skew left, but that could manifest as something like 35% NDP, 20% Green, 45% Conservative.

They’re saying final results for mail in ballots won’t be counted until October 26th. We might not have a clear winner for a week!

Less than 100 votes decides this. Insanity.

Israel started the war long before October 6th.

I’m not going to say he was a good guy, but it was Israel who brought unprecedented war to Gaza. Hamas would not exist if not for Israel’s atrocities.

Yeah our constitution needs to stay closed until some sense of sanity returns to politics here, and I don’t see that happening for a long time.

I have my Google TV in apps only mode. If Google can still see that I pirate literally everything I watch, and circumvent YouTube ads with it then, well, maybe it sends a message.

It also pales in comparison to military aid given to Israel. If they’re worried about the money it’d be pretty cost effective to stop doing that.

It’s funny hearing people say this here in Canada. Like we have polar bears and moose and shit. A moose will fuck you up a lot worse than a big spider or whatever. I’m much more fearful of our wildlife.
