I don’t want him killed!!
Both Trump/Vance are our best chance at getting Harris/Walz elected.
I’m just wondering what options/actions the Republicans would take if Trump dies before voting day.
Don’t underestimate the stupidity curve. There are always more people at the bottom. Just because a candidate is a worthless criminal, does not mean an inevitable outcome. Squeaky wheels get the attention the others deserve. He has already proven that people follow him anywhere like headless zombies.
I’m sure there is a contingency plan with the weirdo party. There is no shortage of criminals without any ethics ready to boost their cronyism clown posse.
Not a lawyer or an American, but procedurally, i would guess it’s too late to take his name off the ticket, so it would still be Trump and Vance, but with couch fucker being sworn if the Rs win. However, with the potent mixture of radicalisation, intellectual atrophy, and lead ingestion, you can’t take civil war off the table either.
I worry about some crazy R deciding to take out Kamala after this. 😭
Don’t even joke about that. Things would get a lot worse very quickly.
Both Trump/Vance are our best chance at getting Harris/Walz elected.
I also want to absolutely clarify that I’m not in favor of assassination but… this is a terrible argument. I’d much rather it was Harris/Walz vs. like… Romney/McCain or some other more boring corporate focused GOP folks. Trump is uniquely able to destroy our cultural norms and usher in really fucking heinous policies in a way we haven’t seen before so it’d be excellent if he wasn’t even on the ticket.
I mean, sure but Dems only really have a chance because Republicans continue to run the shuttiest candidates imaginable. That is absolutely true
Like, Obama won partly because McCain chose to run with Palin. It’s not the only reason he won, but it’s silly to think it wasn’t a major factor - especially considering everything we know about white American voters, that’s been made just as clear as it ever could be. I bet it was a tough decision for some/many Americans
I’ve always wished I could feel like the choice in a general election was a hard decision, but alas I’m working class and brown (and believe in science)
I don’t want him killed because its practically as bad as him getting elected. Our democracy is screwed if elections are being decided by bullets.
