What were the most in-your-face examples of the dysfunction?
“dont tell your mother this but she a btch" "Fine I’ll just kll myself” “I don’t want to compete with my daughter for my husbands attention” - I was 12 at the time… “Ur the reason my marriage is failing” “I don’t give a fuck what ur mother says, she’s a kill joy and makes me hate myself” “Put ur shirt on, I’ve seen better t*ts” I was wearing an undershirt while buttoning my school uniform and I was 15
The list goes on and on and on. But on the up side I am happily married to a wonderfully kind and compassionate partner.
So, like a bad influence? Pretty much all my friends fill that role for me.
Is that a mentor that teaches me German, or…?

Gives and just embodies a bad approach to living and interacting with other people.
Who do you want to be opposite of in various ways and why
My mother. She taught me exactly how not to be an adult. She’s horrible with money, lost her house, had cars repo’d, got into mlms, didn’t know how to handle credit, paid off debt with more debt, and more.
She said to me once recently “you know you just chose a different life path, you chose not to be poor”. Uh nope mom, I learned basic financial skills, and I budget responsibility
