I… Did not realise they got Eli Roth to direct the Borderlands film… And they made it… PG13???

I’m sorry, the guy who directed, produced, and wrote: Cabin Fever, Hostel I and II, and The Green Inferno, did a PG13 adaption of motherfucking BORDERLANDS‽

IT COULD HAVE BEEN AN R18 SPLATTER FILM GODFUCKINGDAMMIT

I want to get off this timeline

I’ve not heard good things about the movie. Also I think it did really badly at the box office.

well that’s proof positive this isn’t the worst timeline. In the worst timeline it’s Uwe Boll

Yeah the timelines getting strange hey. First the trump thing, then Biden drops out, Australia comes 4th at the Olympics, Dutton backing “green” energy, High Jackman puts the claws back on… We keep swining between the good timeline and the darkest.

I’m so disappointed in the casting of that thing. And the pg13 is just stupid.

Loved borderlands 1 and 2, and this is what we get. An animation would have been heaps better.

Apparently it was filmed a few years back and then reshot. A stunt actor recently said it had a lot of head popping, etc. so it was probably R and went to PG.

      tldr: studio interference (as usual)

Maybe it was and the studio execs took all the good bits out to cater to a “wider audience”?
