An activist held on remand on charges linked to the direct action group Palestine Action in UK prison has been hospitalised for the fifth time after going on hunger strike for more than 50 days.

Kamran Ahmed is one of eight pro-Palestine activists who began a hunger strike last year after Shabana Mahmood, the home secretary, failed to respond to a letter setting out concerns over their treatment.

The group’s demands include immediate bail, an end to interference with their personal communications in prison, and the de-proscription of Palestine Action, which accuses the UK government of complicity in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Your post history seems… inorganic. It’s very strange to post a few normal comments 2.5 years ago, then 3 months ago start exclusively talking about Israel and nothing else.

If we are talking about comment history of course you’ve been active in a lot of political threads taking the side of israel

    ???

I’d never support the Israeli government, they’re routinely committing war crimes and breaking international laws. And as I’ve said, I’ve attended a pro-Palestine demonstration and would likely do so again.

I don’t know where the hell you’ve got this idea from that I like Israel.

Thinking people have the right to self determination, having a distaste for attacking incapacitated people with sledgehammers, and being against the violence and ethnic cleansing you’re gunning for is not the same as supporting Israel.

Can you provide an exact ratio of post history that would avoid this? For every comment I make on world politics should I make 3-4 in a hobby community?

Or is it specifically “Israel” that has this prerequisite? If I exclusively talked about renters rights and mass construction of social housing would you raise the same concern?

I’d never support the Israeli government

But you just said you support the two state solution? Or has this conversation made you realise the ‘israeli’ government is objectively wrong and cannot continue? Are you finally a one stater and want to enact Thawabit?

Supporting a two state solution is not the same as supporting the Israeli government.

Again, Palestine wants a two state solution. Are they “fully Zionist” too?

And why can’t you answer any of the questions I’ve asked above?

What? I joined the fediverse on the first big exodus from reddit and didn’t find anything useful to participate in.

I don’t talk about warhammer because I would just build paint and play it.

I don’t talk about death metal because i’ll just listen to it instead.

Politics is one of the few things where talking about it is the “doing”, so of course its all going to be that.

      exclusively talking about Israel

I’m not talking about ‘Israel’. I’m talking about Palestine and the swift movements of the UK government to remove all of our supposed rights as soon as people protest about our country’s complicity in the genocide.

      attacking incapacitated people with sledgehammers

Again this line. The police officer attempted to brutalise someone, and they defended themselves.

being against the violence and ethnic cleansing you’re gunning for

Important to note that removing ‘israelis’ from homes is not ethnic cleansing. They are not in their homes, its the Palestinians they have stolen. The same way it wasn’t ethnic cleansing in South Africa in restoring equality like Musk and Trump say.

        Why do you keep lying?

        I’m not talking about ‘Israel’.

Why do you keep putting Israel and Israeli in quotes?

        I’m talking about Palestine

        You’re talking about Israel

our country’s complicity in the genocide.

Our country has been pretty pro-Palestine as of late. What do you want us to do, nuke Israel?

Again this line. The police officer attempted to brutalise someone, and they defended themselves.

        Didn’t happen.

Important to note that removing ‘israelis’ from homes is not ethnic cleansing

It’s not “Israelis” it’s Israelis. And it absolutely is ethnic cleansing, by definition. You’re advocating for forcibly removing a demographic from their homes.

They are not in their homes

        Yes they are.

its the Palestinians they have stolen.

So you also think hundreds of millions of Americans and Canadians should be forcibly deported to the UK, Ireland, Germany, etc?
