This was proposed through an amendment ‘in lieu’. I’m not an expert on how Parliament works, but these are amendments sent back to the Lords after rejecting their amendments (so aren’t actually law yet?). The relevant votes here are:

You were instance banned under lemmy.ml’s rule 4, not the privacy community’s rule 4. ml’s rule 4 is “No Ads / Spamming”. This seems to have been prompted by you reposting a removed post, which frankly seems fair despite what I think of ml’s moderation normally.
Rule 4 does seem to be a bad reason to remove the original post, though I think it should’ve been removed simply for how cringe ‘cuckloading’ is as a term. Stop trying to link sexual deviancy to moral deficiency.

Even the Brexit campaign did it: https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/sites/default/files/pdf_file/195_17_Response.pdf#page=65

Former Daily Mail columnist and currently writes for an outlet owned by a Tory peer, so probably not.
The letter itself seems to be real, ITV reference it.

The YouTube video is a real Green Party campaign video, here’s the Bengali version of it. Obviously it’s just racist fear-mongering though, putting out political messaging in non-English languages like Urdu and Bengali is fairly normal.

Reform, the gracious losers, has been calling the vote fraudulent even before the results were out.
Goodwin has taken to ranting about a coalition of ‘Islamists and woke progressives’. So no, I don’t think he’s going to take any lessons from this.

This is excellent news. Labour, the party of government, have had their strategy of going right on social issues blow up in their face. Reform are a far-right Trumpian party, and Goodwin in particular is a nasty, nasty person. The Greens are an unapologetically progressive party and trounced them both.

Whatever you think of the Greens, we can all be happy that Matt Goodwin is having a bad day. He deserves it, after all.

Go ahead. A GB News comm would be in conflict with rule 4 anyway.

Note, this is ICO not Ofcom, so it’s to do with data collection on minors and not the Online Safety Act.

I’ve seen other people on Mastodon/Bluesky mention that the site takes an ‘anti-censorship’ approach to moderation, so there’s a bunch of far right people doing Nazi stuff on there.

Yeah, until the evidence is public, this is just going to be he said, she said.

He didn’t make anything close to the claim that the only problem with Israel was Netanyahu’s government, though?

But they’ve got an even more devastating line. A leaflet circulated in recent months in Tufnell Park, they claim (the Greens say the leaflet was not an official party publication and does not represent their views), which said the following: ‘The more privately owned units come onto the property market, the greater the negative impact will be on the value of our flats.’
The entire second half of this article is attacking the Greens for a leaflet that wasn’t even written by a member of the party. This is frankly dishonest, and editing in a short aside about this not being official communications after the fact is hardly being fair.

Fit for an Autopsy.

Some client do it automatically, but this should work: https://lemmyverse.link/startrek.website/post/35769143

Jimmy the Giant branded them as Cotwolds supremacists which just feels very apt.

“I trust the admin here and don’t know about the admin there” is honestly fair. I can see where you’re coming from now, it was just a bit ambiguous.
But yes your name is a bit confusing as well!
Technically, we came first, so it’s the Jerries that are the copycats! (We technically got it from feddit.de, but I didn’t choose the name so my hands are clean)
Very funny that they dug this up the day the Mandelson files dropped. I can’t wait to hear about the hypnoboobs thing the next time Labour fuck up.
