Earlier this year there were various threads and articles recommending that employees do things to subtly sabotage the admin, like just taking longer to do a task, clocking out at exactly 5:00, not responding to an email until a day or two had passed, etc. this type of “mistake” seems perfectly in line with that. An employee knowing that the excessive redactions was likely illegal but they have the pressure of their boss/job to do it, but not wanting to break the law themselves.

One of the big pillars to resistance, especially under tight strictures, is to watch for your opportunity and make your move when you get the chance. I’m definitely seeing some sane and righteous people who made it through the loyalty purges, who have decided that this is the best chance to take aim at the king, where they won’t miss and won’t have to deal with him getting back up, so to speak.

100% this. The documents are fucking vast, they just rushed it and fucked up. There are tens and tens of thousands of files already released (unofficially), and there’s no reason to believe that’s anything but the tip of the iceberg.

Epstein file releases that were “redacted” by highlighting the text with black instead of actually obfuscating it. The highlighted text can be copy pasted out of the PDFs.
