Are you referring to us being about 70% water? Water is 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Hydrogen is a very light element compared to oxygen, so hydrogen makes up 9.5 percent of our mass while oxygen makes up about 65%. Bear in mind that both oxygen and hydrogen exist in other molecules besides water in out bodies as well.
