The reason why I prefer to date traditional Latina women is because as a Latino myself I want my future wife to have the same cultural background as me, the same language as me because I in my experience my mother tends to get along alot better with my latina girlfriends than my non latina girlfriends that I have date in the past. And I genuinely just want to have a housewife who is taking care of the kids and cleaning the house when I’m working 60 hours a week to provide for my family. and is able to get along with my mother. Does this make me misogynistic?

I’m going to be the one here that says: I think you might be. Do you want a partner to love and live together and truly consider equal with all their thoughts, feeling and needs being just as important as yours, or do you want a maid that also happens to love you and wants to sleep with you? I think that is the question you need to answer first.

Maybe? Question though, your girlfriend may want the kids and housewife and shit at first, but what if she changes her mind or you have trouble conceiving? Your reaction will determine if you’re misogynistic or not. Life sometimes happens to you without your input or regards for your preferences.

Hypothetically speaking if my girlfriend changes her mind on having kids and being a housewife and she instead wants to work a full time job and have no kids. Then I would support her decision and I will just be a househusband that cleans the house everyday, goes grocery shopping and makes dinner for my wife after she comes back from a long day of work. To make her life more enjoyable for her.

It sounds to me like you want a person to go to work, and the other person to stay at home. Doesn’t matter which is which. So not mysoginistic at all, if I’ve understood correctly

I would say no, so long as its a case of, “This is looking for in a partner.” rather than, “This is what I expect out of a woman.” or, “This is what I think women should do.” So long as the woman is knowingly and consentingly entering into that arrangement, and you’re not trying to push it onto her, theres nothing wrong with it.

No, it’s called having preferences. There are certain types of women I wouldn’t date either but I’d have no problem being their friend. When it comes wanting a “housewife” it’s only a problem if you’re imposing that on someone whose not into it. However many are and there’s nothing wrong wanting to find one like that.

There are women who enjoy being traditional housewives, and t don’t think it’s wrong to fine them what they want. That’s one of the reasons my wife and I married. I feel fulfilled taking care of her.

That said, that did change over time and I’ve supported that, too. Now the kids are in their teens and she is working a job that is fulfilling for her and pays for the vacations she likes to take. I still pay for the bills and retirement. It works. Yeah, I have to wash and fold the occasional load of laundry, but I’m not going to lie it’s a lot less than 50/50 housework.
