Pakistani men (of all ages) are amongst the stupidest people I know. The “elders” having the “women shouldn’t even be heard” opinions passed down (and believed to be fact) to the kids. Where I am, there are sharia courts. You know, the “law system” that states raped women need 4 witnesses otherwise she cheated on her husband, FGM, “expelling” them from their community and forcing them homeless, essentially castigating women. There is a muslim woman who I regularly see who sleeps rough every night and who doesn’t ask for help because of this ‘law’. These men believe they own the women and are protector of “their” woman, or any woman in general against white people. They generally believe white people (the people that inhabit the country they have moved to), are scum. By being Pakistani male, they believe they the smartest, their way is THE way, and they can not do any wrong.
The women can sadly be equally as stupid, thinking they deserve the verbal and physical abuse they get (it happens a lot in the community and is incredibly normalised). Some actually believe they should obey men, but there are, in particular Arabs / Egyptians women who seem to generally hate white men, looking down on them.
And of course, they are different kinds; true muslim people, then, black muslims - they’re lesser people than muslim people. A doctor I knew liked to point that out.
Then there’s the heroin. Pakistanis are the biggest controllers of it in the UK.
It’s a cult. If you leave, your family are bullied by the other muslim community to stop contacting you for example.
