Decided to try out a local keto store. They sold keto bread at 3.6 g of carbs per slice. They sell keto hazelnut spread with 1 g per " serving ". I toasted up the bread on a cast iron pan. Tasted a little eggy. Added the hazelnut spread. Tasted great.
The hazelnut spread on its own is nothing like Nutella. Has a very smooth but a little bit of a bitter taste. It’s the combination that works
A glass of whole milk to complete the nostalgia.
I thought for sure this little experiment would reduce my ketones. But surprisingly they went up. I went from 2.2 the previous day to 2.4 today. So this 15 g carbohydrate keto snack fit within my budget. I was very pleasantly surprised.
