I haven’t played the game but I seen some gameplay and I can see that appeal of finding a synergy or pattern of execution that you can play for big rolls but aside from that, it is quick, flashy and seemingly has enough variety to complement the art style
I enjoy the challenge of the game. its not easy. When you do well, you get big scores. but i also just plough through tons of clearly losing builds cause i am bad at the game.
its the sort of game you have to play a lot to make progress/understand synergies but the games are also pretty short so its not a huge time sink
it’s the same thrill as vampire survivors or other run-based games with compounding bonuses. when you find a new synergy and your numbers start exploding, that’s a good dopamine hit.
