i grew up like this, but in the 80s so no screens like we know them now, just an old CRT. however my free time was scheduled and TV was not an option even tho it was free time. the only real difference is my father would beat the snot out of me if i did something wrong, bad grades, whatever.
the only positive thing i got out of all of that is i hate being late for something. id rather be 45 minutes early than 5 minutes late. I also have not spoken to my father in over 20 years now, so i guess thats also a positive.

This campaign seems to be sheer bull-headed prudery, using the perverse assumption that sex between a human and an animal hurts the animal. That’s true for some ways of having sex, and false for others.

ok, im not hatin on the steam deck. ive never even seen one in person so im bias for sure. however, what exactly is the appeal of it? I PC game exclusively and have 3 26" curved monitors at 5760x1080, so having a unit that is smaller than my keyboard seems counterintuitive to me. again, im not tryin to come off as a jerk or ‘pc master’ kinda thing. I’m honestly wondering what the appeal is, am i just spoiled?
im a big bird nerd, and i have seen first hand the decline of birds on the prairies. its really sad, i only see a quarter of the migrating birds now too. humans are the very worst thing to happen to this planet

Ok, so this post was reported as non-gaming.
I will admit it’s not exactly gaming related, so I will agree to that point, however I believe its important enough to leave up.
Not like anyone cares, but I don’t always go by reports, I also look at votes, and replies. Seems like most of the folks are interested in this, so unless I get major pushback, I’m gonna leave it up. I don’t think I’ve ever said what or why I remove or leave up a post but today I feel the need to let you know the reason. And to anyone who did report, dont take this comment as a hint or feel like its a personal attack. Y’all keep reporting when you feel like it, I wouldn’t have even looked at this post without the report, so it at least got eyes on it. I like to leave the community to itself, its a great community and I rarely get reports. For one of the biggest/bigger communities on lemmy.ca we get very little reports.
