I’m not aware of any expansionist inclinations on the part of Kosovo. As for Belarus and Russia, they’re supported quite openly by Hungary and Slovakia, as well as being strongly supported by the Serbian public (though not by the govt). If this was just an idealistic imaginary united Europe, then Belarus and Russia should also have a place in it; if it is a realistic description of the current situation, then it’s just wrong.

American here. I’m legit sad that we aren’t represented among our brothers.

It feels like we called Grandma a bitch at Thanksgiving dinner and the cousins just threw us out

You’ve got positions in power talking about annexing Denmark’s land…

Russia fought for the Allies and EU in WW2 too. Funny how it all turns out.

I’m not denying any of that but this community and others had much more friendly us eu relations just a year ago (edit compared to closer relationships with Russia…ever?) I’m just sad about that, not calling it uncalled for or something

Aye. The US flag should be up there, but sadly times they are a-changin’. Russia’s unlocked some achievements with that.

America is neither geographically part of Europe nor a member state of the EU, and given the current administration, it’s best that more countries isolate themselves from the US.

Which is why I said I was sad, I’m acknowledging the moment that we deserve isolation when we should be brothers with the eu/Europe

        Edited original for clarity

Edit you think I thought North America was part of Europe, or that the US was a member nation of the EU? Why would that possibly be my point?
