Kids these days will never know the frustration of booting a PC on an ancient HDD. I’d turn on my laptop, go do something else for 3 minutes, log in, go do something else for everything to wake up, then I can start using it.

Even if one gets bored of the game itself, there’s a practically infinite number of mods and community content out there. New game modes like skyblock, mods that turn it into an RPG with magic systems, mods that make it an in-depth factory building game, mods that take you to new realms and thousands of items to discover… There’s a lot to enjoy.
Adventure maps are also fairly underrated. There are tons of community-made maps that can turn it into a different game. Notably, there was a huge Hogwarts campaign with quests and spells that turns it into a harry potter game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKcsoE5X4fc
The apocalypse will happen before we get Bloodborne on PC
$100 worth of gold. Now I can sell it at any time to get the money back.
Saved you a click: Verify your files on Steam.
It’s not really setting a precedent, hosting pirated content has always been illegal and it doesn’t help that he bragged about being a pirate.
I hate Nintendo’s practices as much as anyone else, but honestly, play stupid games and win stupid prizes. If you sell modded consoles with pirated games on them without even trying to be anonymous, of course they’re going to sue you and win.
I can already imagine a 40-something year old manager coming into work wearing this
I never knew that, thanks for sharing! Also, username checks out.
Tea. Partially because it tastes better, but also partially because I have a low tolerance to caffeine. Drinking coffee just makes me feel jittery and shaky, not focused.
I use Heroic Launcher, it supports GOG and the Epic Store, but adding DRM-free games to it is also as easy as Lutris.
I’ve been eyeing Quest Master lately. This game is essentially “Zelda Maker” with an in-depth level creator and a lot of heart. Unfortunately, it’s not discounted this summer sale.
I understand that with wine/proton prefixes they should be installed to a “fake c:/ windows hierarchy” can I just compress that and copy to a different Linux machine?
Yup, your save games are in your wine prefix so feel free to back them up and just use them again. Note that the game itself isn’t necessarily in the prefix, you could have installed it elsewhere.
Does it save which proton version was used?
I don’t think so, but it shouldn’t matter. You can change versions any time and it’ll just update your prefix.
If I use something like Lutris or bottles can I import into them?
Yes, you can set the prefix path to that folder you copied and it should pick up where you left things.
Die Mart sounds really metal, I wonder what they sell there
Sounds like their plans for the next few games could leak soon
The server has been really smooth today, but images seem to have broken again sadly
Very misleading, they didn’t make them stronger, they made the first 10 ones scale faster and the rest scale slower. This only makes the early parts of the DLC easier, but otherwise it evens out to the same strength at max blessings.
Awesome game, despite being very well received I still think it’s not as popular as it should be. I also can’t get over the fact that Microsoft closed the studio that made it. What a shame!
The first half of the game is fun, but the second half is where it really hits its stride. The more difficult enemies and last few boss fights are amazing. Agh, what I’d do for a sequel…
An employee asked me if he can WORK from HOME permanently. Here is what I told him…
No
But why??
