It really did. I’ve never been so utterly amazed as I was when I loaded the first Far Cry and the first Crysis. Nothing else has come close.

A democratic candidate could have come out and said they have a million dollars and a lifetime supply of Diet Mountain Dew for every voter and the MAGA crowd would have said it was Soros money and started shilling red shirts and hats with “Don’t The Dew” on them. The problem wasn’t the democratic outreach; it was that the GOP was taking every opportunity to poison the well. You can see how it splinters their own party, because they just throw hate in all directions, but it doesn’t matter because they’ve built a “brand”. It’s the same way that Christians can give their money to the church while knowing full well that it only goes to support hate groups and pedophiles. It’s a cognitive dissonance of loving hate. The GOP built their own echo chamber out of brick and mortar, and they have sealed the entire party inside. It wasn’t that the Democrats were excluding voters, it was the voters that were excluding the Democrats.

Everyone does everything to enrich themselves. The motivation for all life is to feel good. Sometimes money makes you feel good. Sometimes sex makes you feel good. Sometimes doing the right thing makes you feel good. In any situation, any person is going to be making the decision they make based on what will make them feel good. That includes “selfless acts” because even in those the joy of altruism can make a person feel good regardless of the hurt they may endure by their choice.

The key is finding people that feel good for doing good things. No one is perfect, but some people try harder than others. And don’t put them on a pedestal. If the last few years have taught us anything, it’s that our idols are just as bad as the rest of us.

The game makes billions per year. I’m happy some people were able to get their money back, but it’s hardly a drop in the bucket, and the whole time that it has been held hostage by Epic they have been milking it for interest.

They are setting up a patsy. They need someone to blame this on, because they are getting completely embarrassed and are of the belief that people will lose faith in the police force if they can’t catch a man who murdered someone in the middle of the street. This whole ordeal has gone so far askew from what the “status quo” should have been for a public execution in their eyes, and they just want it to go away. So, they’ll find someone they can pin it to, and plant all of the evidence they want on him. Fake IDs, passports, manifestos. This is an average day for the alphabet agencies. What they are too blind to realize is that we’ve didn’t have any faith in them before, and in fact, are starting a new religion around this vigilante as we speak. Wake me up when this goes to court and the defendant is allowed to speak for themselves and shows the cognitive ability of someone who is meticulous enough to procure all of the items needed for this assassination, as well as a well thought out plan and escape route. I’m not going to believe a person with crippling mental health issues and a complete inability to speak full sentences was the man behind all this, but that is who they will show to the cameras.
