Yeah that would be ideal indeed. Here in Netherlands some places look like you’re in a sci fi movie at night.
I think these types of greenhouses typically also use sunlight through the the roof/walls like a normal greenhouse and the artificial lights are only in supplement so they can control the amount/duration of light year round.
I go raw, I trust my instance to defederate from the worst of it, but otherwise I don’t block people, communities or anything. I also browse by all and while I subscribe to communities it’s more for the future or something, because for now there’s just not enough content to curate my feed really.
It’s all good though because I switched to other sources for my specialist content (mainly YouTube) and Lemmy is just there for my obsessive scrolling.
But it doesn’t affect me (yet).
For that you need a FWA3DP, a friend with a 3D printer. Mine prints me parts every few months when I randomly need something.
The differences are subtle but unmistakable.
Carrot and stick. But mostly stick.
I’m guessing you’re French based on your instance. I had a friend many moons ago that worked at a processing plant where they packaged the William Saurin stuff (cassoulet, etc). At some point during the batch process once they reached the quota for the branded batch, they literally just switched the label roll to the Lidl ones and kept going with the exact same food.
Of course there’s no way to really know which products are like this and which are made with nasty cheap ingredients.
What do you mean, care to elaborate?
I definitely feel like there’s a correlation between jobs being entry level and being customer facing. Also in many jobs of any level you still have “customer management” even if that customer can take different shapes than the usual retail crowd, but that’s not always a good thing.
Whoever is doing this is probably pretty passionate, I don’t think they start you off doing these kinds of buildings as a rookie.
I entirely thought that this thread was going to be about the plane.
The final destination scene was one thing but do you all remember that real video where it was I think a brick that just obliterates one of the occupants, you don’t see much but you hear the reaction from the other passenger and it fucking haunts you for years.
Muesli is great but imho the ratio of satiety to calorie is way better with the cereals and a splash of milk, I get something that feels like a “meal” for like 250cal, would be much more for a bowl of muesli that doesn’t feel like I’m starving myself.
I use a nutty muesli to top quark yoghurt, that’s a great snack/dessert I get 25g protein from the quark and the muesli I just put 15/25g on top which already almost doubles the calories but does make the whole thing much nicer, it’s a daily staple for me.
Yes, I’m pretty far in the deep end of calorie control right now _’
Just always check nutrition info, some of these that are presented as healthy are really not that great. In general, cereals are pure carbs pretty much so should limit the quantity to what you need in carbs, but they can also have a lot of fiber and be fairly efficient in terms of satiety to calorie ratio, I recently switched back to a small bowl in the morning for breakfast.
They must’ve still been using the old model where you’re from.
They changed it not that long ago it was lighter before.
