Don’t confuse US consequences for EU consequences. It’s pretty well accepted that Americans receive more protections from companies as a result of EU legal cases than our own FTC and FCC.
If full time Walmart employees need government assistance programs to afford food and pay their rent, is it not Walmart who is leaning on government assistance?

Trump is more likely to put sanctions on Bill Browder than anything crucial to Putin’s economy

And features like, “This person was in the vicinity of two ice protests, put them in the database.”

He goes on to describe enforcement levels and outside coordination, saying that “we tripled the amount of accounts that we were banning for hateful activity,” adding that “over two dozen Jewish organizations” are “constantly feeding us intelligence and information when they spot violative trends.”
I appreciate the blatant wording shift away from supporting pro-zionists to say zionism openly while immediately switching back to the word Jewish to describe these organizations.
Nobody is buying your shit, Nazi. I guess that’s the new word for them until they ban that outside of “positive connotations” too. Can’t make this stupid shit up.

“Proud zionist” is the perfect definition of using it in a dirty way. It means you’re in support of the same policies as Nazis if they swapped arian for jews, or at least the jews on their approval list, not black jews.
There really isn’t much reason to buy American when Argentina wine exists. California wines tend to be significantly more expensive too.
Beer is a bit of a different story, but Europe has the best imo.
If you like aged whiskey/bourbon a nice hack is using barrel chips and an ultrasonic cleaner to rapid age lesser liquors. It works super well even with a pretty junky cleaner.

Incorrect, acts of war are traditionally used to distract US citizens. See: Most of Trump’s actions in bith terms, as well as Bill Clinton’s behavior during the Monica Lewinski trials.

Ah yes, “the don’t tread on me” party. Most leftists I know ring more true to the definition of libertarians than actual avowed libertarians.

Codependency is self-destructive, not romantic.
Chronic Anxiety and chronic depression are very similar and tied to similar thought processes and self-fulfilling cycles.
You can’t truly be there for others if you aren’t there for yourself.
Perspective shifting between others and yourself is a powerful tool of understanding and affording yourself the benefits of the doubt that can be hard to muster sometimes.

https://piefed.world/u/The_Picard_Maneuver he’s still active and modding a few communities still.

The_picard_maneuver I feel was a large reason there was even enough meme content to make it start feeling like a reddit replacement for me. I don’t hate power users here since we need more posts to keep the fediverse content active. Maybe if we had 10k+ upvote posts in a single day it’d get old seeing the same faces, but if the content is good it’s elevated. I’d only want something done about it if there were bots who follow-voted to achieve misleading numbers.

Until it contains Saudi Arabia or Israel there’s nothing to say other than “Most Xenophobic president in modern history continues to be incredibly xenophobic”

Not very convincing of her character, this, but of course no character is worse than the embodiment of the antichrist.

Well Russia literally attacked the dome of Chenobyl, so what respect can they be said to have for nuclear hazards?

Yes, but you never want to set up a situation where countries can act through companies and avoid the obvious responsibility for those decisions. You also never want to give the reigns of state department powers to private capital, but we’re way past that.

I think you’re thinking about this a bit skewed. The system they’ve set up is identical to Russia, where private mercenaries institute the will of the state without the state taking responsibility. This is only possible when the state actors align with the business interests of the company and so at best they are able to strong arm policy in their favor for access to their controls and at worst act with impunity while the state wipes their hands clean of the consequences. In all cases it being controlled by tech billionaires is worse than being controlled by the government.

Ukraine thought so too before the man-baby billionaire started fucking with it because they didn’t sufficiently suck his dick. The US should 100% take public ownership of starlink. It’s literally a state department tool, so why is a billionaire controlling it?

Mostly dependent on how much public attention there currently is on him being a confirmed pedophile.

I think there’s some humanity in shared sorrows regardless of your power to stop it. Everyone can contribute a little also. I think with enough motivation empathy can lead to discomfort that can inspire massive change in an individual for the better and in some cases massive changes in a society for the better.
I prefer Samsung UI, but Xiaomi is very tough to beat on performance per dollar. Huawei if you trust em.
