When I first saw that I was like “great, I have a virus”
Nope, just Windows
When I first saw that I was like “great, I have a virus”
Nope, just Windows
Almost every time I restart my Windows PC from an update, it sits on the “closing apps screen” or “restarting” screen then gives up completely and I have to force it to shut down/restart
And, just about every other time I restart with an update, it closes apps and then just fully shuts down after the update!
It’s super graceful! 😭
I gotta say, this is one of the few comics I’ve seen where I didn’t get the joke at all until it was explained
I’m glad you didn’t stop thinking about it, who knows if you’ll get stuck on a tiny island with one palm tree? You’ll need the ideas!
I had a laptop a while back with a fingerprint scanner that would work for one day, then stop working completely. I reinstalled the drivers, and it would work for a day and then stop again. I eventually gave up using the fingerprint scanner until I “upgraded” the laptop to Windows 11, and it worked again. No idea if it still works, since I rarely use that laptop now
You could either have the world’s worst luck, or you are genuinely cursed
Alternatively, you keep spilling coffee on your devices and going into a blind fit of cleaning rage that blocks out the memory of the original coffee spill
One of my friends apparently organized a hang out for all of us this weekend, two weeks ago, but I forgot about it and he got mad
That same friend asked me if I wanted to go to a concert at least twice in the couple of hours we were hanging out
Ok, MICHAEL, I see how it is!
I’m a professional 😏
I gotta learn how to levitate 40 feet off the ground on my photo walks, man
I also need to go on photo walks, man…
Found the titanium personality
This one worked pretty well…
I think he was trying to do the Warner Bros cartoon thing where a character’s head turns into a pan shape when hit by a pan…
Larson captured the zeitgeist of that toon trope, and the figures being arrested are well sized for the frame
“Besides, Simmons, when are you going to finally get rid of the giant haybale?!”
“I NEED it.”
“Uh, I mean it’s for employee morale”
I take the soft shell burgers and pan fry them until they’re nice and crispy
I guess I’m a millennial at 21
To be fair the school I went to was trapped in the mid 90s so I still regularly saw VHS tapes and Windows XP for most of my K through 8th grade years
Maybe garage is just a class styling for a generic “room” After all, it’s got 4 walls and a few doors
Welcome to reverse hell, it’s not quite heaven but something a little close
This is the 360 degree Banjo emporium, you either love it or you hate it!
I guess I might be evil but when I made APIs for my projects I do this, since I blindly accept the response then look at the JSON to see if it was accepted or not
Something like
if (body_has(JSON)) do_stuff_with(JSON) // including error handling if the response has an error else error_no_json()
I do this since I feel like JSON errors should be separate from HTTP errors
The guy with the nose down his throat looks a lot less concerned about it than I would be
Hahaha!
🙁
As Microsoft adds ads in more places more and more, I consider moving over to Linux but I just have too many files and weird Windows only programs that I use that I can’t
I also haven’t really found a desktop environment I really like yet, so I’m open to suggestions for dual booting!
