You can’t break the cycle of digital piracy. Information wants to be free. Going against digital piracy is going against the grain of technology. But I guess if the copyright trolls got their way, there would be no general purpose computing.

Why would they give you lossless files? There is almost no market for that. Those files would be at least hundreds of gigabytes in size

Yep. Like uppercase and lowercase letters. Cause back when type was metal the uppercase letters were in the upper case. And the lowercase letters were in the lower drawers.

DRM employed by streaming services has never made it less trivial to download new movies and shows. I can still get all the shows and movies I want just minutes after they release on streaming. DRM just hurts paying customers.
