On one side, you have bots, bots, and more bots. Enshittification running rampant. AOL-style locked-down platforms, but worse, because they steal your data and your soul to fuel their profits.
On the other side of the fence is the side of freedom. The fediverse will have more users. Also, old-style personal websites/blogs could make a comeback.
Reddit gradually began to suck. Enshittification started to take its toll, but I was protected because I used Old Reddit with a lot of blockers, and I never used the app. Then the API crisis happened, and I thought “Why am I supporting a corporate big-tech platform?” So I left, because a bunch of other people were doing the same.
TLDR:
everyone else dideveryone who counts did.
How do I stop some big mean missed command from tearing up my main drive?
The answer: Use Ctrl-C. And if that don’t work, use more Ctrl-C.
And if that don’t work? Use Ctrl-Z.

They’re more like weapon test sites.
Because they consider themselves to be the original China, since their government was formed from the Nationalist (pre-communist) government of China, who were chased out by the Communists.
The situation is NOT like this:

This is that. I was referring to the previous comment when I said “that”, so I agree with you.
That’s stupid, the capital letter should be taller than the lowercase; and yet that’s how it is in almost every font!
