I’ve seen clip of that financial advice show “The Ramsey show” on YouTube and the things that old man say are shocking to me. According to him I shouldn’t give a single cent to my parents… That’s so against my culture. I would be seen as downright evil if I do that.
Hell I’m unemployed for like a year by now and still sent 200 euro a few months ago to my father that still lives in my home country that I haven’t seen in 17 years.
Are you really Americans like that? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t see it as cold hearted but I see it as unnatural, and I’M a “socialess” cold person in essence.
They have their own money. Why would they need mine?
The purpose of wealth and legacy is to pass to the people who are the future, not the past. You will outlive your parents and your children will outlive you. That’s the direction it should flow - it’s evil of your parents to take your money.
I don’t think I can have children and my father is unemployed and old. I don’t see it as evil, they’re not taking my money.
It’s evil that he cashes your checks when you yourself have so little
He must have no respect for himself
WTF are you talking about, my father is like 5x the man I am. He worked since he was 8 years old. If I was more like him I would probably have a job. Don’t you dare talk badly about my family. I sent him my money, he didn’t asked for it.
He sounds like a deadbeat who never made anything of himself and now he coasts by mooching off of you, and if he had any self-respect he’d shred your checks instead of cashing them
Ok you’re just a troll ass clown. I get it, bye.
