Over a decade in the works and two since Time I, it is here. I’ve only had one listen so far, and not really enough to offer an actual review, but I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I think I’m going to be coming back to the guitar solo two third of the way through Storm quite a bit.

Huh, it seems Kai and Jukka have been busy. Nightwish’s new album comes out next month.
I get the feeling that they finished recording it long ago and it has been a matter of mixing since
I gave it a listen the day it dropped. Initial impression is that it’s yet another masterpiece and they have neither slowed nor stagnated, but I really need to relisten to their full discography to contextualize it and give it a proper comparison/ranking.
