I use the same wallet since I was 16 or 17, but more so out of habit after I paid in cash for most of my life until covid. I did think about getting a card holder for my belt though, but haven’t really looked for one yet.

I’ve never had a wallet. I just carry my cards in my coat pocket. Rarely use them as I use ApplePay.
I’ve never seen a use for a wallet to be honest.

Everyone keeps giving more or less these dates to mark it, but the lifestyles and upbringing can show a lot of variety depending on the region.
You can definitely stretch the time frame to 5 years later depending on the place.
That’s not what a generation is.
But someone can be technically in one gen but culturally another depending on their upbringing.
It’s like a purse just for men.
