    I think another issue with this whole demographics fearmongering against China is that the problem and solutions are framed inside an assumed belief system where success or failure is defined by GDP maximisation. China already prioritises long term growth instead of vulgar GDP maxxing and also then produces the goods needed for both domestic and international consumption without any unfair price gouging. With increased efficiency through automation, workees can shift to care giving without hampering the production targets.

    Capitalists can only see demographics though an economic lens. That’s why they require constant population growth. China shows that is not necessary.

        Like how China is not a democracy. Democracy is when you have massive fundraising events with private interests paying millions for seats at these events and special access, like at the DNC convention just now.

          That’s right, when the west talks about democracy it’s talking about democracy for the ruling capitalist class. China is indeed not a democracy for capitalists.
