The program I’m installing (rustdesk) has a pre-compiled version but it’s not working for me on Wayland, that’s why I’m trying to compile from source to see if it work yeah that’s not average experience because most Linux’s programs nowadays already have a pre-compiled version but if the pre-compiled not working the next best thing is to try to compile it yourself, my ram is 8GB 2GB is for the GPU and it’s not upgradeable
You’re compiling from source. Not average unless you’re in a see of gentoo
Also what’s your specs, 6GB RAM?
Also you can ask rustc to use less cores, just takes longer…

Update: It’s working now, it giving me “failed to create capturer before”
It helps not having a computer with specs from a decade ago.
