The twitter user is an actual commercial pilot, and ACARS messages do look like that. Not sure what’s up with SKW2438/SKT2438 but otherwise it seems legit. I think faking it would be harder than actually doing this.
Except that that might explain the slightly different alias on that line. Maybe it’s a message just like the rest, sent for the sake of the meme, and the alias just happened to get typed incorrectly…
Considering pilots shitpost on guard to the extent that actual emergencies threatening lives are literally not able to be heard… I don’t doubt this lol
That’s the flight management computer, it does waypoint navigation/autopilot. As far as I know it doesn’t do chat to other planes. So all fake
Now I’m double sad.
Don’t be sad, I was wrong. It can do chat. You go get your pilots licence and furry roleplay to your hearts content :D

Apparently it is a thing, but I don’t know how long the messages can be or what they “usually” look like, nor do I trust these screenshots.

Pretty sure ACARS doesn’t include [X is typing] messages
That is a good point.

Turn off bleed air and vent the cabin. The suction cup should release if the pressure is low enough.
Maybe I need to be more professional.
Hey now, they used the indefinite article. The pilot typed a dildo and not their dildo.
I stand corrected, thank you.
