30 motions on Gaza blocked from being debated at Labour’s conference in a week’s time. A genocide is taking place but Labour members are not being allowed to even discuss what should be the government’s response. Bureaucratic control is now out of control.
The Conference Arrangements Committee (CAC) met yesterday and decided to rule out more than 30 motions submitted by constituency Labour Partys (CLPs) and affiliated organisations ahead of the party conference in Liverpool which begins on Sunday 28th September. Every motion on Palestine was ruled out of order by the CAC.

I take your point about that. The press isn’t going to help especially with Corbyn. But “tiff”? Didn’t Sultana start legal proceedings against her own party? Do you go straight to chatting with your lawyers if someone disagrees with you at work? I dunno, sounds like a recipe for disaster. At least from the point of view of those two personalities. For sure the movement and party can survive but I’d be surprised of both of them belong to the party at the next election.
