Huh. Neat. I see encampments like these around my city (San Jose CA) actually. My dog escaped the dog park fence one time and chased her through these encampments. The people were super chill about it while I was freaking out, and it turned out my dog was chasing one of their chickens. I caught my dog, said sorry, then left.
