I dropped Crunchyroll after they told me to turn off my ad blocker after I been paying for months, it was around the same time they got caught pushing views with bad translations. They lived long enough to be the villain.
It was years ago, shortly after they started operating legitimately. I think the drama was they washed out yuri implications from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid and found other translations have been unfaithful enough to change plot elements.

Maybe it’s because I am using U-Block Origins or because I am living in the EU but I just tried it and it didn’t ask me to switch off anything :p
