Yea from the US. I phrased it that way because I can actually bank vacation days and use them next year, up until a certain cap at least. Actually used it to take a long vacation in japan last year.

Damn I bet she hit you with that hawk ptui fr fr.
Maybe in their country? Weird one.
Just look at it as wear and tear. Doesn’t matter how miniscule it may be it’s still eating up your storage and battery life in addition to battery charge. Sure you could charge at work too for battery charge but as miniscule as it is it’s still killing your battery life.
Also, don’t give corporations any leeway because they WILL take advantage of the employee given the chance. For every single rule and regulation that helps the employee someone had to spill blood to achieve it.
I’m with you brother. I actually enjoy my job and my bosses are decent, they never micromanage or get in my way. Ill still take ‘sick’ mental health days off every 2 months or so just so they’re reminded how much of a pain in the ass it is without me here. I also take all my vacation time but it’s usually in one go for extended vacations. Gotta make sure they’re reminded every couple months though.
Honestly if you did those touch ups and said it was real I would still believe it, reminds me of that subreddit where they post weird Stockphotos. Like the lady soldering but she’s holding the hot bit of the solder iron, or the hackerman with the faux mask. Serious stock photos can be hilarious sometimes.
That’s why I have cameras around my house. All backup to the cloud of course.
Yea that’s I’ve seen a few with the classic low quality of cctv and it’s gnarly. Saw someone get splated under the rear of a forklift. She was being counter weight cause they were lifting too heavy of a load and the other person that was also a counter weight got off causing the forklift to start slanting, she tried holding on, got lifted and then fell and slid under the forklift as it came back down after dropping the load. Not pretty.
Not all states or schools. At least my siblings and I never had to. We lived in 3 states and went do dozens of schools between the 4 of us.
It was a fair trade in hindsight lul. Got me a lovely fiancee now and I’m much happier.
I had so many from just eating chips as a kid in Mexico. They still make em, my ex brought me a couple dragon ball super ones from when she went on vacation to Mexico to cheat on me.
Might be a bit dramatic. All sectors of industry are using more and more tech, we have more people in the workforce now that are tech literate than we did decades ago.
These are random numbers to explain my point. Look at it this way, in the 90s maybe 20 percent of people knew how to use computers but 12 percent of those were truly tech savvy and knew the ins and out of using a pc.
Now a days 90 percent of people know how to use a pc (regardless of the form it presents itself, be it pc, phone, tablet, etc) but only like 30 percent of them might be truly tech savvy.
It’s still a step up from back then, and because of the nature of tech in industry there’s always gonna be plenty of people who know how to use pcs well and if there aren’t then that’s just more money for us who do know.
I rewatched the first one recently with my girlfriend and God is Edward a creep when seen through non teen girl eyes. Dudes a literal pedo creep but he’s handsome and broken so it’s ok.
As much as I enjoy that franchise I agree with you. For years I kept hearing ‘it’s better in the books’, I remember specifically people saying that about the organization that helps dobbie and his people. Fuggin, I read the books as an adult and it’s barely expanded on it at all, they just have more scenes about the organization but it isn’t ever truly relevant beyond explaining why Hermione does what she does as an adult.
It’s a charming little story that matured with readers and got a decent adaptation that led it to explode. Lots of luck to get to where it’s at.
I would love to see a wandering inn adaptation instead.
I’m this for my fiancee. This weekend she stepped away for a sec while playing ff14 and I moved her a couple feet over to a safe area. Later that same day she was getting attacked while not there so I hopped on, killed the dude and then flew up in the air so it wouldn’t happen again.
Yea see that’s the problem right there. No of these companies provide any of that to their chickens.
I love that it was fun more than mortifying. I’ve been there and thanks to the type of person I am, imanaged to make it reassuring instead of morifying for my partner. It’s a human reaction, perfectly normal.
How does one get into that line of work?
I don’t usually mind the low quality stuff but it irks me when the art is absolutely amazing and adds to the panels only to get butchered by cheapskate companies adapting it terribly. It’s a tragedy for junji ito cause those ten hours of etching the shadows in any given page do actually matter to add to the horror and the feeling of wrongness. Only to be spit on by shit executives not giving a fuck and just having the animators use a fucking paint bucket to shadow.
Look at this image. The right side is a demon who you wouldn’t wanna meet and the left is just a granny with bad ache.
How much of that is also survivorship bias. Why is it that if appliances were better back then people ended up buying new ones? Most people tend to only buy new appliances and furniture if the old one breaks regardless if there’s a new model. At least that has been my experience with the vast majority of people I’ve known at more than an acquaintance level. Most people aren’t privileged enough to be able to afford new stuff just cause.
