Given that Yemen nearly managed to shoot one down, I don’t think it would be surprising. I agree we’ll need to wait to see some concrete evidence to definitively call it though.

Yeah I’ve seen that photo, frankly doesnt look real. Israeli F35s dont have a roundel in that location and the shape of the entire thing looks very off.

@yogthos how confirmed is this? I hope it is true. Israel of course would never admit to it, and Iran could be trying to boost morale. Though I do trust their media more than the US-Israeli media.
I want to see the wreckage, that’s the only to be certain.
I went looking to see if I could find any corroborating reports, but all I see are Iran-based news agencies reporting it as fact and everyone else reporting it as ‘Iran claims’, so… I don’t think it is yet.
Outside of Iran, who are you expecting to corroborate and how?
I doubt Israel/the US are going to come out and admit it.
Also allegedly it’s up to 3 shot down with 2 pilots taken prisoner. I doubt they would lie about taking the pilots if they didn’t even shoot them down.
